North County Health Services offers medical, dental and mental health services (primary care) to more than 55,000 patients every year. We accept private health plans, managed care programs (Medi-Cal, Healthy Families) and cash payments. In addition, we accept Visa, MasterCard and personal checks. Your cost of care is based on a sliding scale, which is computed based on your income and family size. Your cost of care may be discounted if you are eligible for a sliding scale.
North County Health Services is an authorized provider of several community, county and state programs (i.e. CMS, CHDP, FPACT). We can also assist you with your Healthy Families application, and Medi-Cal eligibility.
North County Health Services maintains hospital agreements to provide inpatient care for adults, children and pregnant women at:
- Tri-City Medical Center
- Palomar Pomerado Hospital
- Scripps Memorial Hospital, Encinitas
- Rady Children's Hospital

Other Services
If you need other access to social services not offered by NCHS, such as information on housing, spouse or child abuse, financial assistance, legal assistance, etc., you may go to 2-1-1 San Diego who will be able to provide you with resources for your need. NCHS works in collaboration with 2-1-1 San Diego to make services available.
