Liliana Alvarez-Martinez earned her Doctoral Degree of Medicine from La Universidad Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Senora del Rosario School of Medicine in Bogotá, Colombia. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at King/Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.  Dr. Alvarez-Martinez is Board certified.

Dr. Alvarez-Martinez began her practice in 2006 after completing her residency.  She chose her profession because she enjoys working with patients of all ages and working with families and the community.  Dr. Alvarez-Martin is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Liliana joined North County Health Services in October 2009 because she wanted to continue serving the disadvantaged populations.  She has volunteered at the University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento & Good News Clinic in Visalia, California.  Dr. Alvarez-Martinez is fluent in English and Spanish. 

Dr. Alvarez-Martinez enjoys traveling, and collecting stamps and coins from around the world.  She volunteers her time by participating on a Spanish language news media advisory committee.
