Vanessa Neves, M.D., a Board certified pediatrician, attended the New Mexico School of Medicine where she completed her studies in medicine before completing her residency at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. 

Originally from San Francisco, Dr. Neves now lives with her family in San Marcos, where she enjoys spending time with her family as well as reading, creative writing and interior design. 

Dr. Neves came to NCHS for its culturally diverse community, its passion for children's health and its commitment to quality care.  She says she chose her profession for many reasons but one of the most important is her admiration for a child's resiliency. 

Dr. Neves is fluent in both English and Spanish.
