NCHS Resource Center

Project Summary

The NCHS Resource Center is part of Special Programs. Patients and community members have access to educational presentations and other interactive gatherings. The Center aims to serve families as a whole, helping families attain/increase knowledge, skills and resources to promote their family growth and development. It also fosters an environment that promotes self-empowerment and enhances the overall family dynamic. The NCHS Resource Center provides information about the following topics:

• Health
• Parenting
• Early Literacy
• Family Planning
• Healthy Families/Medi-Cal Application Assistance
• Developmental Screenings
• Vision & Hearing Screenings
• Interactive Children Activities
• Drug and Gang Awareness
• Community Resources

Hours of Operation

Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm
Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Target Audience

Parents and caregivers of children ages 0-5, pregnant women and teens
