Capital Campaign
To better serve the medical needs of children, adults and seniors in the Oceanside community, NCHS built a new 12,000 square-foot community health center in Oceanside's Loma Alta neighborhood to replace our Oceanside Carlsbad Health Center. Opened in August, 2009, the new health center has 22 exam rooms, isolation and treatment rooms, conference and educational rooms, and sufficient administrative and waiting area space, increasing services and building in a capability that we can almost double. In five years we expect to almost double the number of patients served in this community.
North County Health Services' capital campaign for the new Oceanside Health Center continues to receive generous support from the community. Completion of a successful capital campaign will strengthen NCHS' capacity to serve those with low resources to prevent delays in care which can lead to more costly treatment at out patient or in patient facilities.
