Dr. Donald Miller is dedicated to helping children and speaking for children's issues. He has been a pediatrician in community health centers since 1995, and joined North County Health Services in Oceanside in 2002.
Dr. Miller received his degrees in medicine and public health from UCLA, and received his pediatric training at Children's Hospital, Oakland. Currently, he is a member of the Executive Committee of the San Diego Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at UCSD.
Dr. Miller enjoys caring for children of all ages in the office or in the hospital. Working with children and families and other pediatricians keeps us youthful and inspired." He especially enjoys working with the diverse populations at NCHS health centers, and to learn from the families that access care with us. "You never know when you touch the life of a child" - these are words that I have remembered since I was in school and working as a summer camp counselor.
Dr. Miller is a California native, and has lived in North San Diego County area since 1995. He has one daughter and his wife is an elementary school teacher. He is an avid baseball fan and baseball historian; he also enjoys playing the piano and word puzzles. He volunteers his time as a summer camp physician at a camp he went to as a child. Dr. Miller speaks English and Spanish fluently.
