Dr. Radha Iyengar was born in Calcutta, India. She received her medical degree from Gandhi Medical College in India and completed her residency at the Lutheran General Children's Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.
A board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Radha Iyengar is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Iyengar chose pediatrics because of her love for children. "Seeing a sick child bounce back to health after being treated is worthwhile," she says.
She lives in Oceanside with her husband and two children. She is fluent in English and several Indian languages including Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada. Dr. Iyengar enjoys traveling, swimming and walking. She volunteers as a mentor for the Puente Project at Mira Costa College in Oceanside.
